Why I do this work
Looking after people, often a long way from home, was my job long before property was.
Aviation runs in my family, and growing up in South Africa I planned to become a pilot. I ended up flying as cabin crew instead, for about four years, mostly based in Mozambique and flying around Africa. I loved the travel and the people.
I came to the UAE to visit my dad, who was working here, and stayed. I tried banking in Dubai first, but the corporate world and the pace of Dubai weren't for me, so I moved to Ras Al Khaimah in 2018 and never left. I worked in hospitality and events before property and got to know the town the way residents do: which cafés open early, which drives are short, which corners stay quiet. Since 2021, that knowledge goes into every viewing I give.
That start in banking still helps: if you're buying with a mortgage, I can walk you through the steps with your bank. The bank sets the rate and gives the approval; I make sure you know what comes next.
Animals have always been part of my life. These days that means Ellie, my Great Dane, and the stables: I competed in show jumping all through school in South Africa, took a long break, and came back to it here. Then I'm back in Al Hamra, Al Marjan Island and Mina Al Arab, showing people the street before the listing.
Tell me how you want to live, and I'll show you where.
